6 Best Wet Trimmers of 2023

Wet trimming is a fast, efficient way to harvest larger crops and is immensely popular despite some downsides. If you’re looking to increase efficiency while buying the most effective wet trimmer available, you’re in the right place.

We have used all our experience and asked dozens of our fellow growers to come up with 5 of the best wet trimmers of 2022.

Each has the features we look for, the efficiency we need and the price that works!

1.        YOLO Stores Hydroponics Leaf Trimmer – $299

The YOLO Stores Hydroponics Leaf Trimmer is a dedicated wet trimmer that can deliver decent productivity from a relatively simple device.

It comes with three speed options, extra blades and a simple stand and net arrangement that can work well.

It will only work with wet product and won’t cope with truly large crops but for the smaller grower, it can deliver everything you need.

2.     Trimpro Rotor with Workstation – $1,982

The Trimpro Rotor with Workstation is a heavier duty trimmer than the YOLO Stores version, but is capable of handling larger crops. It is also built to last, so should provide reliable trimming for longer.

It’s more expensive too, but has a stronger motor and some sharp blades that make short work of wet plants.

Having that crop fall naturally into a mesh bag is also convenient. It’s also a low impact way of collecting the product with minimal risk of damage.

3.     Centurion Pro Tabletop Trimmer – $3,921

The Centurion Pro Tabletop Trimmer is a combination wet and dry trimmer. It appears in our wet trimmer list because it’s a complete package, with everything you need to cultivate wet or dry crops.

This trimmer is a bit of a beast but can handle up to 20 pounds per hour, every hour. It’s a tabletop model, so will need a dedicated space but delivers awesome performance.

The trimmer comes with a 10 year warranty too, so you can have full confidence in its reliability.

4.     VIVOSUN 19 inch Bud Leaf Bowl Trimmer – $127

The VIVOSUN is a combination wet and dry trimmer that punches way above its weight. It’s ideal for smaller grows and costs a lot less than some of these others.

This is a bowl trimmer with 30 blades, clear dome and handheld mechanism. Despite the number of blades and simple operation, careful use can minimize damage significantly, overcoming one of the main downsides of hand trimmers.

5.     Risentek XLE Automatic 16inch Trimmer – $589

The Risentek XLE Automatic 16inch Trimmer sits in the middle ground. It’s higher capacity than a bowl trimmer but isn’t as big as the Centurion Pro. It’s also capable of wet trimming.

This is another hand trimmer and has 20 adjustable blades for a precise trim. It works with wet and dry trims and has a robust construction mainly of stainless steel with a plexiglass lid.

It’s an efficient machine that can handle a decent amount of trimming in a relatively short amount of time. It gets rave reviews too!

6.     Triminator Wet Industrial System – $15,999

If you’re looking to trim a little more per day, you might want to check out the Triminator Wet Industrial System. It’s a free-standing trimmer on wheels.

It has a long narrow drum that can handle up to 200 pounds per hour with minimal damage. This configuration means less tumbling and a cleaner cut, which benefits the crop and minimizes the need to stop and clean.

When you do need to clean down, you can safely pressure wash the drum, which has definite speed benefits!

So, there you have it, 6 of the best wet trimmers money can buy.

We tried to cover all ends of the market, from the small home grower up to the more commercial grows.

Whatever end of the scale you’re in, there’s a wet trimmer here to suit!
